Wondering what the body work is all about? It's about mastering the
details of what you're requesting the horse to do. Whether it's 'trot on,'
'halt at X,' 'Leg yield along the long wall,' or how to move your hips or hold
the reins, these Mastery Seminars will provide body work, awareness
exercises, and visualizations which get in you touch with your body.
These exercises draw upon Tai Chi and the teachings of Moshe Feldenkrais
and Matthias Alexander,
as well as good ol' fashion common sense.
Whether you're a rider or not, these exercises reduce stress,
improve posture, increase awareness and flexibility, and generally
contribute to a greater sense of well-being. This is achieved by
cultivating a state of awareness in which the logic and gestalt functions
of the brain can work harmoniously.
Using this information when on the horse increases your ability
to communicate more clearly and effectively, with less noise and
clutter. Using this information in every day life you'll find you
have greater staying power, concentration, and calm.

The best relationships with horses are built upon trust -- and as it turns out,
those are also the best relationships with people as well.
In these seminars you'll learn the physical elements of working with horses --
how to communicate with them to put them at ease, to be clear, to be concise,
to be effective, and to direct and lead. And in so doing, you'll also learn
about yourself and the way you interact in all relationships.

Seminars can be scheduled for your group at your location, or
you can attend the ones here at Satori Stables.
