Open House ~

Horses, demonstrations, other horse people, a cool evening with light refreshments... What could be better?    Come discover a world away from campus that's only three miles away.  At 7p on Friday, Aug 21st, you can come meet the other club and team members as well as the horses you'll be riding, and get to see what we're up to.

Try Outs ~

Want to ride for the Team?  Come back out on Saturday evening, Aug 22nd, dressed to ride, and we'll throw you up on a horse so you can show off your stuff!   For safety's sake, we'll start in either the round pen or on the lunge, and if all goes well there, you'll do a small course of fences.  If you've never ridden, or only ridden some, you can still join the team this semester so you can compete in the Spring.

Competitors Practice Schedule ~

Throughout the year, the team will meet on the weekends in sessions referred to as Mastery Seminars to refine their riding with awareness and ground work.  The first such meeting will be Sunday afternoon, Aug 23rd, 1-3p.  

During the week, they will meet on Tuesdays at 11:00am and Thursdays at 9:45am to put into practice on the horse what they learned over the weekend.

We are fortunate enough to be able to go for twelve weeks this semseter!
