January 22, 2009 At this time, Southwestern University and the Southwestern Equestrian Club have no affiliation with Satori Stables and Satori Stables has no affiliation with Southwestern or the Southwestern Equestrian Club. Students are welcome to continue their riding at Satori Stables with the understanding that Southwestern has no agreement with Satori Stables or Lynn Larson for Satori Stables or Lynn Larson to provide any services to Southwestern or to accomodate Southwestern in any way different from any other barn in the area.
From this time forward until such time as a different arrangement can be put into place, any activities pursued at Satori Stables by students who attend Southwestern University will be solely between that individual and Satori Stables/Lynn Larson and will, as with any other client of Satori Stables, not involve Southwestern University or the Southwestern Equestrian Club regardless of the students affiliation with either Southwestern University or the Southwestern Equestrian Club; Southwestern University has neither the legal nor moral or ethicial grounds with which to restrict the business of Satori Stables.
