About Satori Center
for riders & for horses
for riding & for life
At Satori Center you can take riding lessons, attend clinics, and get education for your horse, too. The theme to all of it is that you'll learn to move better
so you move with the horse and not against it and so the horse can move better. You'll learn methods for
learning that
- apply to any discipline of riding
- deepen your understanding of how
to communicate and interact effectively with horses so you can
establish a leader's position
- increase awareness of your
self and of the affect you have on horses so that you clearly
communicate to the horse what you want it to do
- increase riding comfort, ease, efficiency, & elegance.
The Lesson Structure for riders spans from
basic interaction with horses to intermediate pleasure and
trail to advanced disciplines including dressage, jumping,
and cross-country.
The primary teaching approach through Centered Riding®
relies upon visualization, the teachings of Mattias Alexander,
and Tai Chi. Comprehensively, it taps into all three intelligence centers of
the body.
Equine Position Release re-educates
the body through the nervous system to seek out the most
appropriate way for the body to function.
Reiki,
Resonance
Repatterning,® and PSYCH-KTM
provide more indiviualized approaches of learning for those
who are interested.
The Schooling Structure for horses spans from
basics such as manners, round pen, leading, lunging,
long-lining to beginning skills such as carrying a rider in
walk, trot, and canter, to the more advanced skills required
in specialized disciplines including dressage, jumping, and
cross-country.
Equine Position Release re-educates
horses bodies through the nervous system to seek out the most
appropriate way for the body to function just as it does for
riders.
Reiki,
Resonance
Repatterning,® and PSYCH-KTM
also provide more indiviualized approaches of learning for
those who are interested in letting their horses experience
this as well.
