Real-izing The Change You've Always Dreamed of ...

"The greatest achievement was at first and for a time a dream. The oak sleeps in the acorn, the bird waits in the egg, and in the highest vision of the soul a waking angel stirs. Dreams are the seedlings of realities." - James Allen

Here's the Plan ~
(for now anyway)

As we get closer to the clinic dates and the weather becomes more predictable and we have a better idea of when folks can come in, times will adjust accordingly.

We're in for a great clinic full of fun learning!

4:30 - 6:30 1st un-mounted Groundwork session; The Basics, Learning Modes, Habitual Motion
6:30 - 6:45 brief break

8:00 - 9:30 1st mounted Session: Basics, Following Seat, & Transitions  (group ride of 3 folks)

4:00 - 5:00 Open Ride -- everyone rides as they wish, play with what you've learned, apply it as you wish, ask questions about specifics

Thoughts:

The itinerary so far is just an idea.  I'd like to start with a general ride as folks arrive and then private/semi-private lessons on Saturday with private lessons on Sunday.   I'd also like to have some 'play' time in there where folks can ride there horses while I'm around, but I'm not exactly 'teaching,' I'm just available to answer questions.  This will probably happen Saturday evening.

See you soon!

About Centered Riding:

Centered Riding® is an innovative way of expressing the classical principles of riding that uses body awareness, centering and imagery.  With Centered Riding, you too can learn a language that allows clearer communication between  you and your horse.  And it's suitable for all styles of riding, so you can apply it to whatever form is your preference!

Centered Riding® was developed by Sally Swift, author of the best-selling book and videotapes, and is now taught by Centered Riding® Instructors around the world.

About Lynn:

The only Level III Centered Riding Clinician in Texas, Lynn first began using Centered Riding techniques in 1985.  At that time, the book Centered Riding, by Sally Swift, provided Lynn several breakthroughs in her riding, allowing her to successfully work with horses others had given up on.   Since 1989, after taking the initial Instructor's Course with Sally Swift, Lynn has remained current as a Centered Riding Instructor by attending courses given by Sally Swift and  other Senior Instructors, such as Wendy Murdoch, Sally Haney, Mary Fenton, Susan Harris, Saundra Code-Cabel, and Robin Brueckmann.   Lynn has been teaching Centered Riding lessons for the last 15 years and clinics for the last 5 years.     Some things attendees have said:
'I feel so much better after riding now!  And I think my horse does, too.'  -- I.W.
'My body hasn't hurt since we did that work with my hips.' -- J.R.
'My horse actually bends in her turns.' -- R.O.

Lynn has also incorporated other learning techniques to support the intense growth that is possible with Centered Riding.
